Our harmonious beginnings
Local Vocals is a culmination of decades of making music. Now in our fourth season together, our a cappella songs are arranged especially for us in the style of Pentatonix or Manhattan Transfer. Throw in lots of humour and a little theatrics and you get Local Vocals.
Meet our talented ensemble
We are a 22-voice ensemble of seasoned singers. Our SATB choir often sings in 8-part, contemporary harmonies, bringing rich and complex sounds to every performance. Each member brings a wealth of experience and a deep love for music, so much so that we’ll sing in a blizzard for our art. (photo on right)
Performances with a playful spirit
While we take singing seriously, our performances are all about fun! We love humour and strive to make every concert entertaining and light-hearted. We're best in a concert setting where we can tell jokes and interact directly with the audience, creating memorable moments and a joyful atmosphere for everyone.
